Abstract

The validation of a training proposal for University Teaching Staff and Administration and Services Staff (PAS) is presented, on the adequate treatment of people with disabilities in the university environment. The aim is to make known what the disability is, its differences and, above all, to favor an adequate attitude towards it, while allowing an educational response adapted to their needs. The results show a statistically significant difference between the knowledge related to the contents of the training course at the beginning and end of the course. Regarding to the satisfaction of the participants with the training process, all the dimensions were scored above 4, being close to the value 5, which would indicate a high degree of general satisfaction. Finally, valued the utility of the procedure through a series of adjectives such as the usefulness of the course, ease, satisfaction, relevance, interest, and clarity, all scores revolve around 9, which indicates a valuation very positive of these indicators.
