Résumé

Spatial orientation is a skill through which we determine our location in the environment that surrounds us. It is acquired through one’s orientation experience when going from one place to another. While we move, the information that we are obtaining through successive views helps us to orient ourselves. It is a competence to acquire in degrees related to geospatial information, and can be developed through specific training. This paper presents the results of the Educational Innovation Project "Geomatics and Virtual Reality" in which engineering students conduct a spatial orientation workshop in a virtual 3D environment.
