Résumé
Different substances that aid the visualization of the different structures on retina-vitreous surgery started to be used at the end of the 90s decade. We describe their properties. In this revision paper, we also highlight the results published during the past few years by different authors who have used these substances. And comment our experience at the vitreous-retina section of the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
