Abstract
The progressive abandonment of the traditional forest exploitation from second half of the 20th century atAnaga, has broken out a spontaneous forest change that already shows sufficient signs as to explain the attributes and present distribution of Erica platycodon�s scrub from a dynamic point of view. This work is focused on the analysis of this scrub by means of phytosociological inventories and its corresponding forest sections, as well as the study of its spatial relationships and its boundary types with other laurisilva forest manifestations, through vegetation profiles.
