Diferencias de género en el contenido icónico de los periódicos

Laburpena

El objetivo de este análisis de contenido cuantitativo fue analizar las diferencias de género en las representaciones de las imágenes de los periódicos. Se analizaron un total de 1520 fotografías y anuncios publicitarios. Se encontró que los hombres protagonizaban el 65,6% de las fotografías y las mujeres solo el 15,3%. Y los hombres fueron las figuras centrales en el 37,7% de los anuncios y las mujeres en solo el 29%. Además, era más frecuente que las fotografías y los anuncios protagonizados por hombres estuviesen situados en la sección de Deportes y en Economía del periódico
