Abstract

«The evaluation of Structural Funds in the Objective Regions núm. 1 in the period 2000- 2006: regulation, methodologies and results». The decision to spend almost a third of the budget of the European Union (EU) in its policy of economic, social and territorial cohesion imply the need for optimal evaluation systems that allow, among other things, explain why spending. The Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund for financial instruments used to achieve the policy objectives of the EU. This paper analyzes the different assessments carried out in Spain Structural Funds for the regions núm. 1 goal during the period 2000-2006, with special attention to the regulation, the differences between the methodologies and results.
