Abstract
This paper analyzes the influence of family, sociocultural and university environments on entrepreneurial intention in a European peripheral region, with a less developed innovation system: the Canary Islands. To do this, the perspective of Theory of Planned Behavior is adopted and an empirical study is developed using a sample of Spanish university students in the context of Guesss project. The main results obtained indicate the importance of a university context in entrepreneurial intention through its antecedents, especially attitudes.
