Résumé
The links between the production process of the urban space of the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the spatial distribution, following the crisis, of the evictions resulting from the non-payment of the mortgage and rent are explored. The analysis is based on information provided by the ATLANTE database of the General Council of the Judiciary on such judicial procedures. The results indicate, on the one hand, the unequal incidence of both modes of dispossession of housing in the different urban areas according to their stage of formation and development. On the other, it suggests how the spatial distribution of evictions acts as a key factor in the spatial extension of social vulnerability from traditionally disadvantaged neighborhoods to other sectors of the city.
