Résumé

The study of alerts received in theemergency services is a very importantissue in order to know different aspectsof the time and spatial distribution ofalerts in a given region. In particular, the Emergency and SecurityCoordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 ofthe Government of the Canary Islandsrecords detailed information aboutthe incidents that are reported by thecitizens through phone calls. Due to thehigh volume of information generatedover the time in this process, it is neededto apply big data techniques to obtainstatistical measures and results ofinterest. We have used the statisticalsoftware R and different libraries(Shiny, Highcharts, Highmaps) topresent the data information in differentinteractive dashboards (time seriescharts to analyze the time evolution, geospatial representations of incidentsdensity distribution, etc.). In this workwe illustrate some of these charts thathelp the public authorities to study theincidents in the region during the lastyears.
