The role of perceived restorative capacity and crowding on satisfactiona study in different tourist spaces

Resumo

El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar el efecto del hacinamiento percibido y la capacidad restauradora percibida sobre la satisfacción turística en entornos turísticos diferentes. Tras la visita a tres espacios turísticos se encuestó a 1,958 turistas. Se utilizaron tres escalas: (1) capacidad restauradora percibida para entornos turísticos, (2) hacinamiento percibido, y (3) satisfacción, deleite e intención de recomendar. Los resultados indicaron que la percepción de capacidad restauradora tiene una relación muy intensa con las medidas de satisfacción. En los tres espacios turísticos la satisfacción decrece al disminuir la capacidad restauradora percibida. Asimismo, la percepción de hacinamiento tiene una relación inversa con satisfacción; aquellos turistas que tuvieron una alta sensación de molestia por el número de personas en el lugar vieron reducidos sus niveles de satisfacción, deleite e intención de recomendar. Los resultados muestran el importante papel de la capacidad restauradora percibida y la percepción de hacinamiento sobre la satisfacción turística, y la necesidad de explorar el papel de variables psicoambientales sobre la satisfacción incorporando las características diferenciales del lugar visitado.
