Abstract

The definition and classification of student ́s capacities in the European Higher Education Area are based on the Tuning project. This project includes, as a generic skill, the ability to generate new ideas (creativity), in Spanish universities are mentioned in the White Papers of Engineering. The importance of creativity in engineering education is an increasingly important aspect in many countries, although it is not yet widespread approach. During the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 courses it has been measured the creativity of freshmen students at the University of La Laguna and the University of Valencia with the Abreaction Test of Creativity. In this paper an experiment conducted with 107 students from three different Bachelor of Engineering and Fine Arts is detailed. With this experiment it is obtenied objective result of the creativity skill that have students and can be compared.
