Adaptation and validation of the Dietarian Identity Questionnaire (DIQ) into the Spanish context

Resumen

El objetivo de este trabajo es la adaptación y validación al contexto español del Cuestionario de Identidad Alimentaria (DIQ). En un primer estudio, se realizó un análisis factorial confirmatorio, obteniendo una buena validez y presentando buenos índices de bondad de ajuste (CMIN/DF = 2.026; CFI = .976; NNFI = .972; SRMR = .054 y RMSEA = .057). En un segundo estudio, se analizaron las evidencias de validez basadas en la relacion con otras variables, utilizando el Cuestionario de Significado de la Comida en la Vida. Se realizaron correlaciones y se analizaron las diferencias entre personas con una alimentación vegana (N = 43), vegetariana (N = 44) y omnívora (N = 115). Los resultados indican que veganos/as y vegetarianos/as se diferencian de los/las omnívoros/as en todos los factores identitarios (p ≤ .001). Además, se observaron dife-rencias entre veganos/as y vegetarianos/as en los factores de Consideracion Publica (p = .035), Consideracion del exogrupo (p = .036) y Motivacion Moral (p = .036). El DIQ resulta un buen instrumento para ser utilizado en estudios sobre elecciones alimentarias y sostenibilidad.
