The entry into force of the law transposing Directive 2019/1937 should ensure that employees who report on company conduct that involves breaches of the Directive do not suffer any prejudice but rather receive due protection by the labor courts, which will facilitate their judgement of the weighing of the rights of freedom of expression adn/or information, the duties of good faith and the rights of the company in the face of information channeled in accordance with the law.
