El Patio de mi Casa: Un análisis sobre los beneficios de la intervención grupal en mujeres en situación de sinhogarismo desde la perspectiva profesional

Abstract
El sinhogarismo femenino es un fenómeno complejo e invisibilizado, influenciado por desigualdades estructurales y la falta de perspectiva de género en las políticas públicas, lo que evidencia la necesidad de enfoques adaptados para su integración social. Este estudio aborda la intervención grupal como estrategia para la integración social de mujeres en situación de sinhogarismo, centrándose en la iniciativa "El Patio de mi Casa". El objetivo es comprender la percepción de las profesionales del trabajo social sobre el impacto de esta intervención en las mujeres, identificando sus beneficios y aspectos clave para su implementación. Se empleó una metodología cualitativa, utilizando entrevistas estructuradas con 10 profesionales que trabajan directamente con mujeres sin hogar en Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Los resultados evidencian que la intervención grupal facilita la socialización, el empoderamiento y la mejora del bienestar emocional y físico de las participantes. Las profesionales recomiendan la adopción permanente de esta iniciativa, señalando la necesidad de adaptaciones metodológicas y logísticas para optimizar su impacto. Se concluye que "El Patio de mi Casa" es una herramienta eficaz en la promoción del empoderamiento y la inclusión social de las mujeres sin hogar, aunque su implementación requiere un enfoque participativo y un compromiso a largo plazo. Además, la brecha entre teoría y práctica subraya la necesidad de fortalecer la formación en intervenciones grupales, garantizando que las profesionales estén dotadas para abordar de manera efectiva las complejas necesidades de este colectivo y promover una inclusión social y recuperación sostenibles.
