Redes de Investigación Cooperativa Orientadas a Resultados en Salud (RICORS)

The RICAPPS groups have joined to share experiences and methods in a variety of fields, and collaborate to tackle the growing number of patients with chronic conditions, improve assessment of diagnostics, treatments, and preventive interventions, and foster health promotion. The research projects carried out by the RICAPPS groups have been paving the way for such contribution. RICAPPS research has characterised healthcare utilization, unmet needs, budgetary impact, including gender and access inequities. The network has also worked in several aspects addressing healthcare performance: safety, appropriateness, equity, effectiveness, efficiency, continuity, patient-centredness, and timeliness. Since RICAPPS groups are rooted in public health care or research institutions, the access and regular use of real-world data is facilitated.
