Résumé

The human being goes through different stages in life, marked by time. Some of these stages are characterized by events in one’s life that can make the transition from one stage to another or influence adaptation to them. All these moments involve facing a new cycle, with certain characteristics to the new role, which mean wins and loses. Retirement thus becomes a critical stage of life that, in the worst case, represents a sharp break from the vital personal development so far, as well as a confrontation with a period fraught with negative connotations, in which preparation should become necessary to enable us to cope successfully. Our experience with student teaching innovation at Pablo de Olavide University (Seville, Spain) comes from putting together aspects of retirement and pre-retirement. The goal of this article is to spread the experience carried out about the knowledge of university students about retirement. Thus, the objectives raised in this experience were: studying the perceptions and stereotypes of students on previous retirement, analyzing the concept of retirement during the work session and establishing the changes in the perceptions and stereotypes of students.
