Abstract

University subjects Adapting to the European Higher Education has been a change in the teaching-learning process. Among the more important of the figure of the teacher to guide the process, the active role of the student, who takes center stage in their own learning, competency-based learning, group work, etc. In order to approach these new methodological guidelines we used the portfolio and group work as active strategies for teaching-learning process constructive and autonomous. The portfolio has thus become a tool for monitoring and self-assessment skills acquired by students through a evaluation rubrics designed for this purpose. In this way we draw on a participatory approach, where the student is the protagonist of the process, designing together various tools and equipment contract, portfolio assessment sheet, individual assessment sheet and evaluation sheet workgroup. Our primary purpose is to help develop the use of new teaching methods and assessment, in our case designed and implemented for the subject "Educational Strategies for Socio-Cultural and Community Development," in Social Education degree from the University Pablo de Olavide. The result of this experience has been very optimal obtaining a high level of acceptance of students, considering that they have acquired the skills set and have been implicated in the subject to feel identified with it, being the protagonists of their action.
