Resumen

Abstract: Planktonic copepods of Family Sapphirinidae (Copepoda Cyclopoida) were studied in Canary Islands. The specimens were captured during Canarias 85, Canarias 9110 cruises and a biannual cycle. 15.325 individuals of 17 species were captured. The temporal and spatial distributions of these species were described for the Canary Islands Region, as well as the environmental factors that influence in this distribution.
