Laburpena

Este estudio analiza las diferencias de las metas académicas en estudiantes de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria en función del curso, e identifica los perfiles motivacionales y su relación con el rendimiento académico en Lengua Castellana y Matemáticas. Mediante un muestreo aleatorio por conglomerados se seleccionó una muestra de 596 estudiantes escolarizados en centros públicos. Los resultados mostraron que existían diferencias signifi cativas en las puntuaciones medias de las metas académicas según el curso. Asimismo, se encontró que la motivación estaba determinada por tres tipos de perfiles motivacionales, los cuales se relacionaban con distintos niveles de rendimiento académico en Lengua y Matemáticas.
