Resum
Leydig cells of the ovary. About their hyperplasia We have carried out a morphometric study of microscopic images that have been acquired in histological preparations of human gonadal structures, fundamentally ovaries and fallopian tubes. The samples were obtained and used at the time for clinical purposes, and throughout the present study strict patient anonymity has been maintained. We have concentrated the study on the learning and use of an image treatment program in order to assess the dimensions of the Leydig cells of the ovary, those of the accumulations they generate and the number of cells they contain. We have determined the approximate value that defines Leydig cell hyperplasia versus what defines a normal state.
