Resumen

One of the great classic disciplines forgotten in spanish secondary education in recent years is Fluid Mechanics. Some basic concepts on this subject could be established based on previous knowledge and certain approaches that would not only simplify their study, but also understand certain everyday phenomena, very close to concepts such as «density», «pressure» or «energy.» In Chemical Engineering we work with great profusion with fluids and, in most cases, these are in motion. The concept of «flow» is for students an esoteric arcane that needs to be unveiled, and we will try to do so through the principle of conservation of energy that they know and they also have applied.
