Abstract
As part of a research project which analyzes the estate of Andalusian harbours in the Late Middle Ages, this work offers a description of the available sources for the study of the economic and social realities concerning the villages and harbour cities of the Andalusian region. It departs from a thorough consideration of the large volume of files published so far as well as of the new possibilities national libraries and public records offices and archives present to today's researchers.
