Resumo
The reconceptualization of the general intelligence factor as a function of the attentional capacity of general use is proposed in this work. From a previous study supporting the existence of a general use processing capacity, a design intending to demonstrate that this capacity is the basis of the formation of the G factor was elaborated. At the same time, the interest in using correlations in conjuntion with certain types of experimental task manipulations, or of subject-task interaction, is underlined for research on the processing capacities involved in the tasks.
