Zusammenfassung

The archaeological site of the Peña de-Fiquinineo-Rock of Spoons (Teguise, Lanzarote), located in the Jable, stands as one of the reference sites on the aboriginal past and the history of the island. The archaeological work being carried out since 2009 following a series of depredations, have provided important data on the final stage of the majo Moorish settlement and subsequent occupation of the rock and this area of the island. Similarly, the variety of archaeological materials recovered, the stratigraphic sequence and the remodeling of the walls, report changes in site functionality and the population occupied him over 5 centuries of history. Asset recovery activities that have been taking on this important cultural environment are the living example of the effort to preserve some of our history.
