Organizational Safety is a growing research area in psychosocial intervention in organizations.The socio-technical perspective represents a current orientation for the study of organizationalsafety management systems. A principal strategy for enhancing safety levels is the developmentand evaluation of training programs from a socio-technical perspective. Specifically, the goal of this paper is to introduce a training program developed to improve safety on airport ramps inseveral European countries. We also present the results obtained in Tenerife for two of the eva-luation criteria: safety attitudes and climate. We applied a 3 (enterprises) * 2 (experimental andcontrol) * 2 repeated measures (before and after) quasi-experimental design. Subjects were 131employees from three enterprises working on the Tenerife-South Airport ramp. Results show an improvement in safety attitudes for all the experimental groups after the program implementation. Nevertheless, climate measures did not show any significant change. These results show the adequacy of this program for attitude change. We also discuss the climate results in terms of the characteristic temporal stability of this variable
