Abstract
This paper tray to approach to evolution of the Local Government in the Spanish Historic Constitutions. The Spanish Local Governments were created in the 1812 Constitution. Its constitutional regulation is basically characterized in a strong Central Government interventionism and in a few functions ambit of the municipal and provincial Spanish Local Governments.
