Abstract

The advections of Sahara air masses, normally associated with dust-haze, affects often to the Canary Islands. The strongest events are an important climatic hazard. The study of a 28 years serie allows to get conclusions about the frequency, the litogenic material features and the tendencies. The method used combine the statistical analysis together with Synoptic Climatology.
