The first centenary of the Inspection of Labour gives us a good occasion to study its history and present legal regulation, mainly after the Law 42/1997, of 14 of November, about the Inspection of Labour and Social Security, a new law which joins some other legal regulations to offer a complex and motley legal panorama.
