Abstract
«Old and Modern Sources in Tomás de Iriarte’s Translation of Horace’s Poetics». When undergoing the project of translation and commentary of Horace’s Ars Poetica, Tomás de Iriarte (Puerto de la Cruz, 1750-Madrid, 1791) went through different editions of this work. Most of them contained commentaries about the Latin text and its translation, and very few of them included the date and place of edition. Taking this into account, this article focuses on the editions and annotators mentioned by the Canarian fabulist, that is, on the editions Iriarte may have used in his filological task.
