Zusammenfassung
This paper tries to confront some adoulterous love stories to those which take place in «romantic comedies». This confrontation allows us to show how «happy endings» are more a commercial product than an artistic manifestation, by placing the adoulterous stories in a legendary tradition from the Middle Age to present time. This paper also analyzes the variations in the determining factors (moral, aesthetic) behind the development of this old plot in different films
