Abstract

An important discipline based on geometric drawing has almost been banished from the materials we use nowadays —this is the study of light and projection of shadows. In order to promote curiosity through experience, we suggest a series of instruments and notions that work together in the subtle process of natural development: the ability to acquire knowledge on spatial intuition. The study of light is a basic pillar which supports drawing, painting, architecture and photography from their origins. Qualifying scientific reasoning has the objective of repositioning us advantageously in order to better understand aspects of nature and the origin of visual phenomena in our everyday lives. Fortunately, it is understood today that in our educational scene the incorporation of technological advances, which only a few years ago were the study aim of experts who were involved or not in pluridisciplinary research, is now increasingly required
