Résumé

The Comisaría General de Excavaciones Arqueológicas was a mirror in the archaeological area of the Franco’s Administration structure. The archaeologist ingressed in the system suffered a politic depuration that some of their became to surpass, in spite of an ideologically antecedent unacceptable. One example was the archaeologist Luis Diego Cuscoy. His ideological trayectory is analysed from his first stage as teacher involved with the ideals of the II Republic, the start of his collaboration with the Comisaría Provincial de Excavaciones, after the Spanish Civil War, his access to Comisario Local and Comisario Provincial, and the events at the finish of the Franquismo.
