Resumen

Esta investigación analiza la relación existente entre el nivel de violencia interparental al que se han visto expuestos los participantes, sus creencias acerca del papel social y familiar de la mujer, y sus respuestas ante diversos conflictos de pareja (estimaciones de responsabilidad, frecuencia y gravedad). Para ello, se elaboraron tres instrumentos que fueron presentados a 176 estudiantes de FP (98 mujeres y 78 varones). Los resultados confirman la existencia de diferencias significativas en los juicios de los sujetos en función tanto del nivel de violencia experimentado como de sus creencias. Se discute la implicación de estos datos con relación al proceso de transmisión intergeneracional de la violencia marital.
