Zusammenfassung
This paper deals with Spanish words collected and employed by German intellectuals and scientists, that travelled to and wrote about the Canary Islands in the XIXth century. We’ll try to provide a few new data about the history of some Spanish words used in these Islands and to show the perspective of a handful of foreigners, that made reports over our land and people at this time.
