Abstract

The spontaneous occurrence of Tamarix boveana is recorded for the first time for the Canary Islands. It was found on the island of Fuerteventura. Chorological and ecological data for the species are given. We also report the presence on this island of Tamarix aphylla, although in a cultivated state
