Buddha and the Buddhism are treated by Nietzsche from the perspective which his reflexion about nihilism opens, however his position in relation to the Buddhist spirituality is ambiguous, and although it is charecterized as passive nihilist, eulogizes its hygienic dimension as opposed to the resentment which determines to Christianity.
