Zusammenfassung

A study of the effect of different flocculants on the reduction of secondary effluent turbidity of a wastewater treatment plant was carried out in a «Jar Test». Reduction yields of 95%were obtained for Flocumix of 20 mg/1 with a sludge generated of 20 ml/1 when the pH initial value is 8. The yields obtained with KF69/H and Flocudex (Cationic Polyelectrolyte) were below 82% and the sludges generated were insignificant
