Abstract
This work presents the first catalogue of the Cumacean species that has been recor- ded up to now for the Canary Islands. The check list of species is made from the biblio- graphy and the research of the authors. The results of the "R.R.S. Discovery II" of 1968 in deep waters stand out and these faunistic reports are published in various papers. The check list consists of 29 deep water species and 8 from shallow sandy bottoms, one of which is quoted at the genus level.
