Abstract
The present study shows the social importance which university access has for the over twenty-fives. Learning takes place within certain coordinates which are defined by the characteristic of being an adult person and from which certain relevant difficulties derive. The analysis of the peculiarity of such a condition is used to understand the difficulties which confront learning. This is realized in the training courses for access to university, and for this reason we regard it as relevant to outline the case of the access course for over twenty- five’s to the University of La Laguna as well as the entry test.
