Abstract
A first approach to the ammount of litter found on some ecosystems of Tenerife is given. It has been evaluated using several 1 m side random located squares on different stations representing the more characteristic ecosystems on Tenerife. The collected litter was dried in an oven and divided attending to their support, green and reproductive fractions. The results obtained had been compared with each other and with expected values for similar world biomas.
