Abstract

The gender composition in the profiles of enrollment and graduation within the degree of Law has profoundly changed in Canarias during the last twenty years. Simultaneosly other relevant transformations in professional arena related to this degree are coming up. These two aspects indicate the relevance of using a gender approach to study the Law Profession, as it is one of the professions reflecting a higher change in the gender profile of the workforce. The main aim of this study consists of analyzing whether the way the feminization within the university studies really entails changes within the profession, apart from the statistical ones.
