Abstract
«And Th e Play Became Cinema “Th e House Of Bernarda Alba”, From Federico García Lorca To Mario Camus». Th e House of Bernarda Alba, play by Federico García Lorca, was scripted to fi lm format by Mario Camus in 1987, in a moment under the so called Miró Law that fostered a literary cinema that shunned facile entertainment. Th is article is intended an analysis on the diff erences and similarities between the fi lm and the theatrical play, just as it shows the situation of Spanish cinema along the 1980s.
