Zusammenfassung
is study presents three manuscripts containing two nominal rolls and a genealogical index regarding the population of Tenerife during the first decades of the sixteenth century. Despite the fact that these records were not originally conceived as conveyors of information of such kind, they do allow us to know better the insular colonization process and way this society was organized after the Castilian conquest of the archipelago.
