Abstract

A taxonomic study has been undertaken of the genus Rhamnus L. in the Canary Islands. Three species: R. crenulata Ait., R. glandulosa Ait. and R. integrifolia DC. are studied. A taxonomic key, full description, tipification, distribution and ecological data are presented for each species.
