Zusammenfassung

Throughout the Decade of the 1950s, studies of spatial economy achieved a special rise and development, after essential contribution of German autors. At that time, University studies in Spain of Economics reached theirconsolidation and, in this field also, studies of Economic Structure is foundin a true intellectual crossroads, and thus guidelines, trend directions and diverseoptions, in relation to perspectives, patterns and lines of research. This intellectual crossroads was resolved and ended tragically, for political, ideological andeconomic causes that determined and accounted for the spatial economy a realaccountability and was surrender definitively.
