Abstract

This article reviews the economic relations between the Canary Islands and Latin America in the period 2000-2011. After a brief review of the literature on the internationalization of companies we analyzed trade and service relations, and flows of foreign direct investment. The conclusion is that there is little trade and services relations and only weak flows of capital for direct investments Key words: economic relations, trade, service relations, foreign direct investement.
