Abstract

Gender-blindness has been a common issue in theoretical studies on technologies, and that has meant the invisibilization of the many aspects we now intend to highlight, especially when they have contributed to the reproduction or the persistence of gender stereotypes in our relations with technology. Current debates on technofeminism, and cyberfeminism demand from us to be very much aware of the role of subjects in knowledge generation processes; and of the disapproval or exclusion dynamics of the current technological-scientific practice. To overcome this epistemic injustice, to develop new plural symbolic universes and narratives, and to identify the keys to a transforming political action in a post-human world that can be foreseen are some of the tasks tackled by current cyberfeminism.
