Abstract
This paper focus on a study of the historical evolution of the Plaza de Santo Domingo, located near the church and convent of the same name, in the city of San Cristobal de La Laguna (Tenerife). From the mid-nineteenth century, to the early fifties of the last century, the place included a tree mall. The historical garden is analyzed, also its current state. A proposal is made, focusing on the improvement and conservation of the place according to its historical background
