Abstract
This work pays attention to a very concrete concern, that regarding the teaching of Medieval History in secondary schools throughout the last decades. Special attention is devoted to the nuances and changes included in the Social Sciences program which have been implemented in the Canary Islands after the model of text books and laws applying in this archipelago.
