Abstract

«About the world. Tribute to Professor Fernando Estévez González». Fernando Estévez González (1953-2016) is a reference in the social theory, the museology and the anthropology of the Canary Islands. Professor since 1982, he taught many subjects for more than thirty-seven years in different faculties at the University of La Laguna, being also director and, later, coordinator of the Museum of History and Anthropology of Tenerife. Among his contributions are his influential historiographical studies on aboriginal canaries, his work on material culture, heritage, tourism, art or identities
